Marine Lab
The Angsana Maldives Marine Lab at Velavaru is dedicated to protecting coral reef ecosystems through research and conservation efforts. Local marine life, including sea turtles and corals, are closely tracked and monitored. Diverse reef species are also protected through research and careful follow-up. You can play your part by attending a marine biology class or exploring the coral reefs on a guided snorkelling safari. Take part in the resort's coral replanting programme and plant corals in the lagoon.
