More than 2,000 years ago, Li Bing designed this water control and irrigation dam and organized thousands of local people to complete the project. It is still in use today, known as the "living water conservancy and museum." This ambitious water project is the world's oldest and only surviving retention-diversion dam. About 25 minutes drive from the hotel.

Sanxingdui Site is the remains of the ancient Shu culture, which dates back to 4800 to 2600 years ago and is considered one of the greatest archaeological discoveries in the 20th century.

Mount Qingcheng is one of the birthplaces of Taoism, China's only indigenous religion. It is still a religious centre sprinkled with caves and shrines venerated by Taoists.
Founded in AD 143 in Mount Qingcheng, Taoism has developed into an important religion in Southeast Asia, exerting tremendous influence there. For ordinary tourists, Mount Qingcheng is an ideal summer resort.

Jinsha site was unearthed in February 2001 in Chengdu in an area spreading across about 5 square kilometers, and is about a 30 minute drive from the hotel. It was the capital of the ancient Shu state, the centre of the ancient civilization in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River from the 12th century BC to the 7th century BC. The excavation of the Jinsha site marks the first major archaeological discovery in China since its first step into the 21st century, and it also reveals the existence of another historical relic in Sichuan Province following the famous Sanxingdui, winning itself the title of “Top Ten Archaeological Discoveries of 2001”.

Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport is a 4F-class international aviation hub and is one of China's eight regional hub airports. It also serves as a key aviation hub for both passenger and cargo distribution within China's inland regions. The airport is approximately a 40-minute drive from the hotel.
